ABout my yoga classes

I teach hatha yoga which is a a wonderful blend of steady, held poses and gentle flowing movements, creating a practice that builds strength, flexibility, balance, and ease.

My classes are suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities, with participants currently ranging from their 30s to their 70s.

While I sometimes offer more challenging postures, there is always a choice of options so that everyone can practise in a way that feels comfortable and right for them. You won't find any headstands or handstands here—just friendly, accessible yoga in a relaxed and non-judgemental atmosphere.

Alongside the physical practice, we also explore simple themes from yoga philosophy, such as kindness towards ourselves and others. This is where yoga becomes especially interesting, as its benefits can extend far beyond the mat and into everyday life.

Classes take place in a lovely local bookshop (Parade's End Books on Ham Parade KT2), meaning you're supporting two small independent businesses at once.

And occasionally, after class, we stay for a cup of tea and a chat—a perfect way to end the session and connect with the local community.
