Have you thought about practising yoga, but you are not sure where to start? Over the course of six weeks, join me in a very small group to discover the wonders of yoga! This course will be suitable for beginners, or also suitable if you have practised for a while but you would like to revisit the fundamentals of yoga in a slightly longer session. We will cover: What is yoga? (There are many opinions and styles! ) Working with the breath and the power of breathing efficiently! (pranayama) Different types of postures (asanas) with recommended alignments Short flowing sequences, featuring our "poses of the week" Simple meditation We practice in this small and inspiring independent bookshop. Please arrive 5 mins before class and bring a mat. I do have some spares, should you forget. If you have to miss a week, I'll send you a recording.
